The short version
SpicyCEO doesn’t use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. You can read every article without accepting anything, which is why you won’t see a cookie banner.
What cookies are
Small files a website stores in your browser so it can remember things, like a login or a security check.
Cookies that may be set
| Cookie | Set by | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm, cf_clearance | Cloudflare (our security network) | Only when needed, to tell people from bots and protect the site from attacks. Strictly necessary. | Up to 30 minutes (__cf_bm) or a short period after a security check |
| wordpress_*, wp-settings-* | WordPress | Only for our own team when they log in to edit the site. Readers never get these. | Session or up to a year |
Strictly necessary cookies don’t need your consent under EU and Spanish law, because the site can’t work safely without them. They don’t track you across other websites.
The site’s fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading them doesn’t send your data to Google or anyone else.
If this changes
If we ever add a tool that uses non-essential cookies (for example, analytics or the newsletter sign-up), we’ll list it here first and ask for your consent before setting it.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking Cloudflare’s security cookies may mean you’re asked to complete a security check more often.
